My forecast says that this will be an amazing weekend ... grilling out, Father's Day goody-ness, time with the family, working on fun projects, and awesomeness abound.  The weather forecast might not be nearly as promising as my personal forecast, but I don't mind.

We have accumulated several more inches of rain and everyone in the county has been advised to STAY OFF THE ROADS.  That includes you, grass. 

Also, in an ironic twist of fate, the Wisconsin Dells Ducks (which normally run tours on the NOW DRAINED Lake Delton) are being used in a nearby town to rescue those who are stranded by the most recent (TODAY!) flooding.  (An aside:  While I always thought that riding the ducks was a fun tourist attraction, it must have been terribly traumatic for some WWII veterans.)

JUST posting a video.  I plan to work this hard MORE OFTEN.

Quick question:

I changed to Xanga themes.  Everything on my end looks good ... I have checked the look on two different computers and three different browsers.  However, a friend on an old Mac says that everything is squished off the page. 

Do things on this blog seem funky to anyone else?  (OTHER THAN MY USUAL FUNK!)

I almost never wear nail polish on my fingers, but I do like something subtle on my toes.  Only, without the chemicals, PLEASE!  Last week at Whole Foods, I bought PeaceKeeper nail paint (in 'Paint Me Tranquil') and Suncoat Natural Nail Polish Remover.  They both ROCK.  (Click on product names for more info.) 

I have lost track of how much rain we've had the last three days ... eight inches, maybe?  Either way, I love this weather despite the state of emergency in most counties, the flooded roads, and the rumor I heard about the dam on the verge of breaking.  (Did any other locals hear this?  I was told that it was mentioned on The Weather Channel.)  I do think that it's just a rumor.
