  • Is it a good book?

  • @Viewtiful_Justin - I have read three paragraphs so far as I'm reading two other books at the moment.  So many books, so little time ...

  • i have tried to read that book a half a dozen times and i can't ever do it.

  • @soNOTcool - Funny...that's the same thing my checks say on them.

I just bought that book and wondered if it was worth the time and effort.

  • @Southland - Yep.  I'm one of those people that picks the labels off the bottle whenever it's humid enough.  It's a compulsion.

  • I've never known Ayn to bring comfort.  Confrontation and intellectual exhiliration at times, yes.

  • When I read Atlas Shrugged, I mentioned it to someone and the response was "And nobody's MAKING you???"  It's a tough book.

  • why are you reading the worst book ever?  ayn rand had some issues.  issues she approached in an opaque and verbose way.

your kitchen is so fresh and clean i want to cook in it!  i do love a fresh kitchen.

  • @soNOTcool - do you know i think this is genetic?  chuck's maternal side does this.  chuck started in on pop bottles when he was very small.  if delia does it, well, we know where she got it.

  • @Smarticus - @wixer - @notforprophet -

For the love of all things unholy, I AM NOT READING THE FREAKING BOOK.  It is JUST SITTING THERE.  I had ordered it a long time ago, and then canceled my library order, but for some reason they still sent it.

  • @soNOTcool - lol your an objectivist!

now you have to set up the same shot with like, mein kampf or one of those "born to shop" novels.  and then proust in french.  and a big stack of watchtower magazines.

  • @Smarticus - That cracked me the hell up.  Bah ha ha!!

  • @JessieMollner - It seems like people love it or hate it.  It's still on my list of books to read, but others are trumping it for now.

  • For the record, I love Atlas Shrugged, and will continue loving it, just like I love your pictures, and will continue doing so.  So keep on, keeping on.  But don't leave the book on the counter.  Give it a go.  I've had the time of my life so far.  Nobody leaves baby on the counter.

  • Since everyone is focusing on the book or the beer, I'm go ahead and as what is in the other bottles? guna

  • What is in the other bottles?

  • @key19 - The white and blue bottles on the right are Sigg water bottles.  The white Japanese-theme is X's and the blue one is mine.  On the left, Mrs. Meyer's Lemon Verbena dish soap.

  • @SuddenlyISee - The white and blue bottles on the right are Sigg water bottles.  The white Japanese-theme is X's and the blue one is mine.  On the left, Mrs. Meyer's Lemon Verbena dish soap.

  • @soNOTcool - I never said YOU were reading it (though I don't understand having a book and NOT reading it)...I just said I had read it and it was a tough read.

  • @wixer - I didn't mean that to be a direct response to you, but I was replying to everyone who commented that it was a tough read, "verbose", etc.  And, you are right ... which is why I've never gotten more than a page or two into it.
