    lunabomber

Luna aka Lunatron aka Lunar aka Lunabomber aka Retardo Montalban aka Lunatuna aka Lunarama aka Girl.

(Edited to add:  Our three cats were all strays and/or saved from animal shelters.  Luna, however, is an AKC Akita, raised for the show ring until the age of seven months.  At that time, she had an eye injury that required surgery, so she could no longer compete and was put up for sale.  Her grandpa was best Akita in breed at Westminster Dog Show about ten years ago.  Her ring training is still very evident as she only knows how to walk on our left side, and she circles clockwise.  ALWAYS.)

  • very strange. i had a dog with my ex boyfriend and we named her luna.
and she looked very similar to this one. she was part chow part huskey.
a little bit smaller and with lighter markings on her face.
    sweet!

  • Ha!  Retardo Montalban!  That's great.

Robb had a cat called Senorita Juanita Georgina Santina Beaner Bertha Pugsley Priscilla Antoine Scantron O'Brien III.

    They just called her Beans.

  • Yes, it never fails!

    Pets have pet names too!

  • Her peaceful disposition is so evident.

  • @BettyC - Unless you are a dog.  When we see a dog during a walk, we have to put her in a sit, lay down, stay, and then stand on her leash.  She bites every dog she can.  But, yes.  She is completely submissive to me.

  • I just spit out my tea when I read 'Retardo Montalban'... that has to be the greatest nickname I have ever heard!

Bubba had a lot of pet names as well... but his full name was Thomas Bubblicious The Pooh Thompson, but due to being in the Witless Cat PRotection Agency we had to shorten it to Bubba.  Charlee never got a longer name since I only had her less than a year before leaving.  But her nickname will always be Tuna.

Here's something you can tell X.  I do a lot of volunteering for Animals Taiwan which takes in the injured and abandoned strays here and gives them treatment and re-homes them whenever possible.  A lot of the cats and dogs actually go overseas to new homes.  I know she loves animals and Asian culture.  How about a cat or dog from Taiwan?  I keep threatening my parents that I am bringing them Taiwanese animals when I come home this October.  I think they are worried about a new cat coming to their house.

  • @BrysonMC - Witless Cat Protection Agency?!  *laugh!!*  I'll tell X, but! ... no more pets for us.  Three cats, a dog, and a snake is quite enough ... at least until I live in the sticks again.

Off to check out the link.

  • I liked "lunatuna", myself. hehehe.

  • My dog is just named Doggie...I bet he hates me for it :)

  • I love Luna!  She's so pretty and has the sweetest face.  Love her many nicknames.  I think Retardo Montalban is my favorite, hehe.

  • @streetphotos - For many, MANY years we had a (boy) cat named Kitty.

I agree with your comment on my blog, it is total insecurity on their part.  But me being who I am, I decided to just lock down and ride it out.  I am not missing anything really as I haven't had much success lately of finding new readers.

Hope you have a great day and I LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos... but of course ...YOU took them.... :)
