EDIT: I think I fixed the problem. I found where to change from 'three columns' to 'two columns'. (Thank you, SuddenlyISee!) Please let me know if you're still getting 'cut off photos'. THANK YOU!
Quick question:
I changed to Xanga themes. Everything on my end looks good ... I have checked the look on two different computers and three different browsers. However, a friend on an old Mac says that everything is squished off the page.
Do things on this blog seem funky to anyone else? (OTHER THAN MY USUAL FUNK!)

Looks okay to me.
@kikndevsmom - Thanks for your input, T.
it seems okay to me. the photo is too wide for the space in my browser and it's cut off, but that's not unique to your site. happily, i could see it just fine in the subscriptions page of my home page, which is where i do most of my reading anyway.
on your blog I lose more than over half of the photo...when I click on blog updates from my page I see the whole photo.
@cathurynn - Hrm. That's weird. My photos are, and always have been, set to 800 pixels. Have my photos been too wide for the browser in the past? Are you on Mac or PC? What browser do you use? Thanks for your input.
@sherab_zangmo - Hrm, again I am stumped. Is this a new problem with viewing my site? May I ask what browser you use? Thank you!
It's the right hand boxes they have added to the screens... it takes a lot of space away. When most pages are viewed in your subs page they are okay, but on your real page they get messed up a little. I'm on MAC, so I don't know if that makes a difference.
I think the colors are off as well... X looked more like a turtle on a pic not to long ago!
looks fine on mine and i'm using a semi old mac (3 years old)
@BrysonMC - Right. Hand. Boxes?! There shouldn't be any unless you mean the box that shows comment/prop numbers. I wonder if I can slide that over to the left side of the page. Thanks.
I see things fine. Grey background, photo strip in the header? All sized properly (well... as proper as you get
)

i use msn. The first and last photos on the header look exceptionally underexposed... I knoa they are not since I saw them from before. Could be my monitor. I have been having issues with different photos and pages looking weird.
@firephly - Thanks, Meg. So, I assume you can see the full photos.
Geez, I wonder what the deal is and why some can see the photos normally and others can't. Damn Xanga bugs!
@JennyG - Thank you, thank you, Jenny. I really wanted your input since you use themes and all looks well when I visit your page or read you via subscriptions.
@sherab_zangmo - Thanks again for your input. I don't know what to think about the way that the photos look (exposure). All of this different input, while confusing now, should be very helpful. Thanks again.
@soNOTcool - truthfully i haven't noticed it being a problem before. but i have also changed computers in the last few weeks. i'm on a pc, using internet explorer, but i just checked with firefox and it looks exactly the same. very strange!
If you change your layout to be just two columns it should fix the photos being cut off...

yeah sister, the photos are half for me too.
just my two cents. ..

@SuddenlyISee - When I did 'themes', I took out everything on the right side of the page (all modules and the column itself). I don't know why my eProp info is showing up there rather than in the left-hand column, where I want it. Do you know where I can change that module to the left-hand side? I can't find a page that will let me edit that particular module. Thanks for your help.
@bleuzeus - Thanks, Matthew.
It looks good on my end and I'm at work using a PC
@SuddenlyISee - Nevermind. I FINALLY found the place to change from three columns to two. THANK YOU!!
@Munsiecross - Thanks, Eric. I think that I just figured it out. Yay!!
your photos are all here now! now will you get into my site and update it to xanga themes?
i'm just kidding!
@Southland -
Well, if you ever want help, just let me know because it is really easy once one figures out where to look. And, now I know.
New(ish!) Mac, Firefox.
Right hand side of photo missing!
Appears if I make the browser page wider.
No great shakes to worry about.
(However, al the speelling correktions I've had to make in this comment, makes me wonder!)
I have a relatively new MAC and everything looks life to me.
Good!! - Much better. Glad I could help.

Looks better now.. but the colors man... there like movin' and stuff.
I can hear the blues and greens through the screen...
Trippy!!!
All clear on my Mac. I think anyway... boxes on the left, photos centred, nice and neat.
@percym - I do believe that I figured it out yesterday. It took me FOREVER to find the two column versus three column selection area. o_0
@sherab_zangmo - "The first and last photos on the header look exceptionally underexposed ... "
What the hell? Adjusting my themes won't affect something like this. Everyone's a critic, eh?!
not being a critic! heh. I just thought previously they weren't that dark. maybe compression? maybe my monitor. Like I said I have been having problems with it.
@sherab_zangmo - Ooh, darn. I was just coming by to delete that comment. Sorry. I didn't mean to come off as a total snot. I was just trying to figure out what one had to do with the other, and then I got all snarky. Again, sorry. The banner shouldn't have been affected by the changes with themes EXCEPT ... that it's now gone!! Aargh. It must have happened when I changed to two columns. Despite what I said, thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
Look good! Hello Love!
@soNOTcool - I want help! I've been trying to figure out how to take that third module off of mine, it's empty but I can't figure out how to get it back to the old way... help!
@breathelectric - I can't open the module right now because I'm working on something else, but I'll try to explain it in vague terms (and from memory). If you get it fixed, let me know, otherwise I will give you specific instructions within a day.
Anyhow, here's what I did ... I opened up the themes editor (I don't know exactly what that is called, but it's the page that shows your blog and you have the option of deleting your modules, moving them around, etc. In the top area of the page, near the left-middle, there are three options and I think that one of them is called "remix theme" (or something very similar). When you click on that, some options show up in the top third of the screen. There are a few selections running horizontally, and in one of them I found graphics that showed the various options of two modules (profile on right, or profile on left), three modules, etc. I clicked on the one with two modules where the profile is on left (like classic Xanga). I think that I then saved the changes, and that did it for me. I hope this helps. If it doesn't, I'll get more thorough directions to you.
