  • you wearing those new flip flops of yours?
    nice hostas, baby.  :]
    sweet dog face, too.

we now have screamers.  they moved in right behind us.  the mom's even more pleasant.
throws the door open and unleashed a barrage of rage on them...not to mention language.
the girls are just being girls...  mom needs some orange pills i think.

  • how fun! but ACK! screaming kids!! drives me insane!!

  • Great flip flop sound effects! *snicker*

    You Hostas are HUGE!

    Wonderful yard!

  • @LuckyStars - You betcha ... those EXACT flip-flops!  Eeek.  Screamers.  You have my deepest sympathy.  o_0

The little one (of the two neighbor kids) is a screamer, but only because her sister is hitting her with a baseball bat or smothering her and other similar horrors.

  • love the flip flops. i find it interesting that there are no fences. it's like that in n carolina where my dad lives too. you will never see that here in california unless you live waaaaaaaay out in the boonies. screaming children should have socks stuffed in their mouth :D

  • I got all excited because you were walking towards the house and I was like YES! She's going in!!!! Tour!!!!! Oh well!  It was fun to see the yard and garden, the subjects of many a photograph on TV.

  • @Fresh_Sprout - Maybe another time.

@firephly - Ahh, the subject of fences probably also explains why it's easier to let a cat (loose) outside there, and not so easy here.  Also regarding fences, I would say that they are uncommon in the older areas of town, but that some of the newer suburban areas have them.  They are also a little more common in the city (Madison).  The idea of fences is an interesting thing to think about ...

  • An interesting use of the charcoal teaser... obviously suggesting a sequel. I think Hitchcock did that once.

Narrator: "Observe the juicy ribs smoking over the hardwood charcoal. The neighborhood is strangely silent. Where are the screaming children? That's so not cool."

    DSC

  • I was fine til I read DSC and now I am giggling. And I may need to click on the name since it sounds like something X would say...

    Your hostas ARE huge.

And? I love video. Thanks so much for sharing!

  • I love this - and your flippy flops too, lol.

And DSC - Way too funny.

  • @DeadSkinCells - Heh.    And, now, I feel strangely obligated to do a follow-up!

@BettyC -  I almost felt like doing a disclaimer so that you know I'M NOT COPYING YOUR IDEA.   I have been toying with the idea of doing video for a while (obviously, from the unmasked video), but just finally have my video camera issues worked out.  Soooo, expect more videos!!

  • @soNOTcool - I am really glad you're doing video blogs.  I can't get over how different it is than the written word.

  • Cool!!!
    I love moving pictures.
    Yours even better!!!
I hope you have a pain free day!
    Tina

  • I enjoyed walking with you!
